This is a FREE event for Global Wellness Day.  

Spaces are limited to 18 people.  There will also be the option of viewing the speakers live on Facebook.

Global Wellness Day is an entirely not-for-profit day, a social project dedicated to living well. The purpose of Global Wellness Day is to ask the question, even if for just one day, “How can I live a healthier and better life?”, to direct the thoughts of both individuals and society towards “living well” and to raise awareness.

The main aims of the day are:

  • To recognize the value of our lives
  • To pause and think, even if for just one day of the year
  • To be free from the stress of everyday city life and bad habits
  • To make peace with ourselves
  • To raise awareness about living well and increase motivation, not just for today, but for the remaining 364 days of the year

First celebrated in 2012, Global Wellness Day was established in Turkey as the “first” day dedicated to living well, and has now been accepted worldwide. 2020 is the first year we will celebrate this special day in NZ and we are so happy to be a part of it!

We will start the afternoon with a relaxing Qi Gong routine (a moving meditation) and then have a warm cup of tea and a chat.

Catherine will talk about Mindfulness and how practicing it in different ways can improve your health and happiness. 

Then, Melissa from The Thrive Guide will give a brief insight into how we can naturally balance our hormones.  

We will finish with a beautiful short meditation.

Afterwards Catherine and Melissa will both be available for any questions and have some yummy healthy snacks for you all.
